The Âé¶¹´«Ã½ offers a full range of pharmacy programs, from our Pharm.D. 0-6 program to post-graduate residencies. Our curriculum provides you with an integrated foundation in pharmaceutical and clinical sciences as well as patient-focused health care. You'll also complete applied, practical studies, equipping you with the skills to work in a variety of pharmacy careers after graduation.

The Âé¶¹´«Ã½Pharmacy Experience: A Year-By-Year Description
Programs
Pharm.D. 0-6 Program
Through ±«±··¡â€™s Pharm.D. 0-6 program, you’ll gain the knowledge and expertise needed to succeed as a Doctor of Pharmacy candidate. This program is designed to fast-track your pharmacy career and allow you to complete your Pharm.D. degree in six years. During your first two years, you’ll study on our waterfront Biddeford Campus, take challenging, immersive courses in interprofessional health care, pharmacy practice, and more, and be supported by a dedicated Pharmacy Faculty Academic Advisor. For the Pharm.D. portion of your studies (P1-P4), you will study on our Portland Campus for the Health Sciences.
Direct Entry Pharm.D. Program
±«±··¡â€™s Direct Entry Pharm.D. program is intended for students who have completed all required pre-pharmacy coursework before applying for direct admission into the first professional (P1) year of the four-year doctoral program.
Pharm.D./GCPH Program
Learn core public health concepts to help with your knowledge of patient populations in our dual Doctor of Pharmacy and Graduate Certificate in Public Health Program.
PGY-1 Residency
Build upon your doctoral studies, gain clinical practice expertise and hone leadership skills with our community residency program.

The Office of Continuing Pharmacy Education provides opportunities for faculty, alumni and the pharmacy community to stay up-to-date on the latest developments in health care.
Areas of Focus and Special Programs Certificates and Tracks
Specialty Focus Areas
As a student in the School of Pharmacy, you have access to specialized training opportunities. We have established specialty focus areas in Pharmaceutical Sciences; Wellness and Integrative Medicine; Veterinary Pharmacy; and Interprofessional Healthcare in Rural America providing you with additional expertise in these areas. You can complete these focus areas as part of your curricular progression plan, at no extra cost. These focus areas have a program coordinator who can familiarize you with requirements and options.
