Medical students at the Â鶹´«Ã½ College of Osteopathic Medicine will gather with families and friends to open envelopes revealing their residency placements on Friday, March 20, 2026, at 12 p.m. in Innovation Hall on the Portland Campus for the Health Sciences. This annual event marks the culmination of years of hard work and the beginning of students' professional careers.
 

The College of Osteopathic Medicine, Maine's only medical school and the sole osteopathic medical school in Northern New England, is ranked among the top 10 nationally for matching graduates with their first-choice residency program.
