Dr. Tejasvita Chandel obtained her undergraduate dental degree from Government Dental College and Hospital, Shimla, India in 2012. She subsequently completed her Dental Public Health residency at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine, where she earned a Master of Medical Sciences in 2022. Prior to joining the Âé¶¹´«Ã½ College of Dental Medicine, Dr. Chandel served as faculty at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine and as an Assistant Professor at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Dentistry. She is a recipient of the Caswell A. Evans Population Oral Health Award from the American Public Health Association. Her research interests include oral health equity, access to care, rural and geriatric oral health, community-based dental education, preventive interventions, and educational research in predoctoral dental training.
