I have an extensive experience in education and research. Most recently I was employed by Northeastern University School of Nursing, SNHU graduate school for Organizational Leadership and Salem State University School of Nursing.
Prior to teaching in higher education, I was the director for the Department of Professional Development and Simulation at Lahey Hospital and Medical Center in Burlington, MA. In that position I managed the department along with conducting educational research and team training. As part of this position, I held a faculty appointment at Tufts University School of Medicine.
For my professional education, I graduated with my EdD in Organizational Leadership from Northeastern University in 2019. My dissertation topic was, “The Effects of Team Training Utilizing Simulation and Mindfulness on Colleague Engagement and Patient Satisfaction in the Healthcare Setting”
My Master’s degree in Nursing Education was achieved in 2006 from Salem State University as well as my BSN in 1983.
My clinical experience was SICU, ER and Cardiac Cath Lab all at Lahey Hospital and Medical Center.
