UNE's Giving Day is Tuesday, March 23
On Tuesday, March 23, the Â鶹´«Ã½community will come together to “Give Blueâ€ during UNE’s annual Giving Day.
There have been several Giving Day challenges created in the past to inspire the Â鶹´«Ã½Community to reach the highest donor goal ever. While this year has already brought a host of unwanted challenges, these are some that we hope you will welcome:
- If the goal of 900 donors is met by the end of Tuesday, March 23, it will unlock a $10,000 gift to Â鶹´«Ã½from the officers of the Board of Trustees.
- If 100 undergraduate alumni from the classes of 2011 through 2020 make a gift to Â鶹´«Ã½by the end of Tuesday, March 23, Eleanor Manning Morrell WJC ’49 and Richard Morrell, HA ’96 will donate an additional $5,000 to UNE.
- If 250 alumni, faculty, professional staff, students, and families of the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) make a Giving Day gift, CAS Dean Jonathan Millen will take a swim in the Saco River off of Freddy Beach by March 26.
Launched five years ago to inspire philanthropy to UNE, #OneTwoGiveBlue Giving Day has become an annual day of celebration of what continues to make Â鶹´«Ã½a special place for generations. For all members of the Â鶹´«Ã½community, there is no better day to make a gift in any amount and to support any aspect of Â鶹´«Ã½than Tuesday, March 23.
Your gift just might be the one that puts us over the top.
