WCSH 6 features story on MARC seal release

WCSH 6 news on July 22, 2012 covered the release of three seals by the Â鶹´«Ã½Marine Animal Rehabilitation Center (MARC).

Although MARC typically releases seals from the beach, staff sent these three seals into the open water from a whale watching boat off Camp Ellis, Saco.

Accompanying the crew was Leigha Coughtrie of Brunswick who won a MARC seal-naming contest. She chose the name Wiggle, and as a prize got to open the cage and send Wiggle home.
